A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Beauty with an Umbrella Kakemono - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty hurrying through the street under an umbrella. She looks over her shoulder with a somewhat dismayed expression, her mouth slightly agape. She wears a blue kimono patterned with tiny gourds, tied with a light gray obi that reverses to alternating bands of red and blue with clouds and stylized dragons. Her hair is smoothed back into a sleek bun, adorned with a few simple ornaments. A charming design, beautifully suited to the vertical kakemono format.

Artist - Eisen (1790 - 1848)

Image Size - 27 7/8" x 9"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels. Toning, slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
