Comments - Fantastic view of pleasure boats crowding the Sumida River as passengers enjoy the famous fireworks display over Ryogoku Bridge. At lower right, a young girl waves a fan excitedly from inside the cabin of a large boat decorated with red paper lanterns. On the rooftop, boatmen pole the craft along the water. At left center, the fireworks are launched from a small boat, shooting up into a shower of sparks in the night sky. A terrific depiction of this famous summer activity.
