First Edition Thirty Views of Kyoto - Handsome first edition design Tokuriki's lovely "Thirty Views of Kyoto" series, published by Uchida in 1936. These charming shin-hanga designs illustrate famous places and events in Kyoto, celebrating life throughout the seasons, rendered in a painterly style with subdued colors and soft shading. Each print is mounted to stiff board in the nearly square shikishiban format, ready for display. First edition images from this series are rarely seen on the market. A terrific choice for a shin-hanga collector.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. A couple tears at edges, repaired. Toning and curling, a few creases at edges and small spots. Please see photos for details.
