Comments - Charming scene of Prince Genji and two beauties in a palace. The young nobleman looks over his shoulder with a slightly surprised expression, one hand atop the armrest at his side. A tray on the floor before him holds three graduated red lacquer sake cups, and the folding screen at upper left is decorated with blossoming cherry trees. An attractive design with a nicely detailed interior setting.
