Original Kunichika (1835 - 1900) Japanese Woodblock Print
Angry Samurai

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of three samurai, the man at right grimacing angrily as he stares at the fellow in the center. He tilts his head as he looks back at his companion out of the corners of his eyes, a strange grin on his face. At left, another man watches with a slight frown, his brows furrowed. Nice large expressive figures, with soft bokashi shading and handsome wood grain impression in the background.
