Comments - Charming portrait of the courtesan Shiraito of the Hashimotoya wrapping a black obi around her waist. She smiles sweetly as she looks over her shoulder, her head slightly bowed. At center left, a black lacquer basin rests on a window seat, and the room opens onto a view of cherry blossoms. A handsome setting.
