Comments - Charming scene of beauties on an outing in autumn, with maple trees covered with orange and red leaves. The woman at right carries a poem slip, pausing to look back over her shoulder at her companions. Behind her, a straw mat covers the top of a stone lantern, with flowers along a garden fence below. At upper left, steps lead up a hill to a small pavilion with a thatched roof. An attractive design, beautifully detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars and trim.
