Sixty-odd Provinces by the Mainichi Art Publishing Company - This lovely reprint from Hiroshige's "Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces" was published in 1997 by the Mainichi Art Publishing Company of Tokyo as part of a limited edition release of 300 sets. These designs are beautifully printed with fresh, vibrant color and fine detail, including soft bokashi shading. A terrific opportunity to acquire a fine, limited edition reprint from the series.

Higo Province, Gokanosho - A spectacular view of the region of Higo Province near Gokanosho, a small village high in the mountains. Here, a peasant is carrying baskets of reeds crosses a bridge formed by a fallen tree. Crossing over the enormous gorge, a mountain peak rises beyond, shrouded in clouds - beautiful.
