Series; Famous Places in Kyoto, 1936

Sanjo Bridge - Interesting view of the famous Sanjo Bridge in Kyoto, the arches structure receding into the distance at right. A maiko or apprentice geisha stands at the foot of the bridge at left, enjoying the view beneath a willow tree blowing in the bridge. Beautifully detailed with soft shading on the silhouetted building and the mountains in the distance. Mounted to board in the traditional shikishiban format, ready for display. The first time we've offered this Tokuriki subject.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Mounted to board. Slight toning. Some prints have a few spots or slight wear at edges. Please see photos for details. Generally in good condition overall.
