Original Yoshiiku (1833 - 1904) Japanese Woodblock Print
Suspicious Man

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a man frowning as he looks suspiciously out of the corners of his eyes, his head slightly bowed. He wears a striped kimono over a red under robe, his sleeve held to his chest. The figure appears in a yellow inset against a curtain covered with writing and crests, the stitches along the panels carefully detailed. An interesting format with graphic appeal.

Image Size - 14" x 9 5/8"
