Nihonbashi, circa 1844 - Handsome view of Mt. Fuji from the busy Nihonbashi or Nihon Bridge. At right laborers carry shallow tubs of fish or produce from yokes over their shoulders. Storehouses line the river and the walls of the castle can be seen in the distance, with the snow-capped peak of Mt. Fuji rising at left. Nicely composed.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical centerfold. Small losses, a few holes and thinning spots, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and rubbing. Please see photos for details.
