A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Cherry Blossom Viewing, 1847 - 1852 - Lovely spring scene of a group of beauties on an outing to view the cherry blossoms on the grounds of a temple. The women smile happily as they stroll along, two of them carrying umbrellas, lifting the hems of their kimono as they walk. The hillside behind them is covered with flowering cherries trees, and at left, visitors climb the steep stairs to the temple perched atop the hill. An attractive design.
