Original Edo era Japanese Woodblock Print
Beauty Emerging from a Palanquin

Comments - Interesting little kabuki print depicting a beauty emerging from an elegant enclosed palanquin, holding a cases sword against her shoulder. She wears a blue kimono patterned with cherry blossoms and tie-dyed motifs over a red under robe, tied with a red tie-dyed obi. A beautifully detailed design.

Artist - Edo era artist (unsigned)

Image Size - 7" x 4 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Spot of glue residue on reverse at top corner from previous mounting. Small crease at corner. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
