Akitoyo Terada - Not much is known about the artist Akitoyo Terada. During the 1950s, he designed a series of small format portraits of Noh theater actors which were published by Uchida. These handsome subjects have a painterly quality, with colorful costumes and loose, sketch-like line work adding interest. A nice choice for a collector interested in Noh theater.
