Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Bando Hikosaburo offstage, wearing a dark blue kimono with a bold circular motif that is repeated on the fan he holds. He looks with an angry frown, his brows furrowed. Autumn grasses and blossoms are silhouetted against the night sky behind him. Nicely detailed with faint cloth embossing on the white motifs on the kimono, and soft shading in the sky.
