Comments - Lovely scene of elegantly dressed courtesans strolling through the Yoshiwara in springtime. They wear beautiful kimono with fantastic designs, including a snarling tiger in a bamboo grove and a rooster with multicolored feathers. Two of the women are accompanied by young attendants wearing matching robes and servants holding umbrellas. The crowd around them includes men and women in the latest European fashions, including bustled dresses and bowler hats. A canopy of pink cherry blossoms fill the background. An attractive design, nicely colored.
