A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Old Japanese Gallery Inventory - This print came from a large group purchased from the inventory of an old Tokyo gallery. The gallery, popular with foreign clients in the 1950s, went out of business when the owner died almost 50 years ago. Look for the old gallery mounts, with artist and subject identification in pencil in English, on some prints. Where applicable we’ve left the mounts intact (as seen in our photos). Great group offered for the first time in 50 years!

Artist - Shuncho (active circa 1780 - 1795)

Image Size - 8 1/4" x 6 1/4" + margins as shown; backing sheet 11 1/2" x 9"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Mounted at top corners to backing sheet. Slight soiling, a few creases. Some prints have a few spots or stains. A couple backing sheets have one or two small holes. Please see photos for details.
