Beauty Climbing into a Bath

Comments - Lovely portrait of a beauty taking a bath. She stands up on tiptoe and she climbs into the large wooden tub filled with water, balancing one hand on the wall beside her and the other on the edge of the tub. A verse accompanies the image at upper right. An unusually large format reprint that would make an attractive framed display. The first time we've seen this elegant design.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 23 5/8" x 11 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. Light horizontal folds, a few small spots, slight curling. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details.
