Woodpecker and Cherry Tree

Comments - Lovely kacho-e or birds and flowers print of a woodpecker perched on the trunk of a blossoming cherry tree, its feathers brightly colored. A few pink petals drift down through the sky. An attractive early 20th century design. Please note that some of the pigment on the petals has oxidized to a dark tone.

Image Size - 9 1/4" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Hole in margin, repaired. A few creases. Stamped "Made in Japan No. 57" on reverse. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
