Prince Genji on a Verandah

Comments - Lovely scene of the handsome Prince Genji standing on a verandah. He wears a blue coat patterned with flowers and vines over a plum colored kimono, tied with a rose obi. He smiles happily, his hair pulled back into a topknot tied with purple cord. A beauty kneels behind a sliding screen, holding his sword upright. The verandah opens onto a beautiful view of a lake framed by rugged shoreline. Beautiful color and detail in this attractive print, including embossing on the white kimono collar and trim.

Image Size - 14 5/8" x 10" + margins as shown
