Otsu, Station 54 - Charming image of a beauty leading an ox laden with bundles of firewood. Her kimono is tucked up at the waist for easier traveling, revealing a red under robe and leggings. A young boy accompanies the woman, waving a flowering cherry branch over his shoulder. Lovely color and attractive detail in this interesting design. A rarely seen Kunisada II series.
