A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Beauty with an Umbrella Kakemono - Attractive portrait of a beauty out for a stroll, carrying an umbrella and holding a parcel to her chest. She looks back over her shoulder with a slightly worried expression as she hurries along on tall wooden geta sandals. Her light blue-gray kimono is patterned with blossoms, tied with a red and black striped obi. She wears fashionable lipstick that appears green when applied more thickly, giving her lips a two-tone look, her hair arranged with a large comb, floral ornaments, and ribbons. A lovely image, beautifully suited to the kakemono or vertical diptych portrait.

Artist - Eisen (1790 - 1848)

Image Size - 28 1/2" x 9 7/8" + margin as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels. Small loss at edge, a few holes, repaired. Creasing, slight toning and soiling, a few marks. Please see photos for details.
