Courtesan beneath a Cherry Tree

Comments - Attractive portrait of an elegantly dressed courtesan strolling beneath a blossoming cherry tree. Her blue outer robe features a flower cart, with the wheel at left and irises and cherry blossoms on the sleeves. Her hair is arranged in two large loops, adorned with two combs and many hairpins. A charming Edo era beauty.

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Small loss, a few holes and thinning spots, repaired. Creasing, wrinkling, slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
