Sumo Wrestler with a Dragon and Wave Print Apron, 1908 - Handsome portrait of a sumo wrestler posing in the ring, wearing a purple ceremonial apron patterned with writing and a dragon emerging from splashing waves, and trimmed with fringe. A nice subject for a collector interesting in the ancient sport of sumo. Dated Meiji 41 (1908) in left margin.
