Tales of the Floating World on Eastern Brocade - Dating from 1867 - 1868, this terrific early series by Yoshitoshi illustrates famous tales by a variety of storytellers. The stories are retold by Kanagaki Robun in text blocks that take the form of a book with the pages bent back.
