Adachi was one of the most respected publishers of the 20th century. Their woodblocks were printed to the highest standards with excellent color and fine detail. Founded in 1925, Adachi also chose interesting and varied subjects for their prints and was the only publisher of many famous old ukiyo-e images.

Cherry Blossoms at Mount Yoshino - Attractive image of cherry trees in bloom at Mount Yoshino. Travelers make their way along the path in the foreground, a bank of pink and white blossoms filling the background, with a torii gate and rooftops just peeking above the flowers. Lovely soft color and fine bokashi shading.
