A Fuji Arts Contemporary Exhibition Item We’re excited to introduce a recently acquired collection of contemporary prints purchased in Japan. We’ll post this collection over the next month as a single exhibition of contemporary designs. We’re looking forward to sharing these beautiful prints all selected with an eye to the modern Japanese aesthetic. Young Maiko - Attractive modern woodblock of a young maiko or apprentice geisha dressed in a formal kimono and obi. She has a lovely sensitive expression, with delicate shading around the eyes. In the background, bonfires on Mt. Daimonji form of kanji character for "great." The fires are lit annually in late summer at the close of the Bon Festival. Beautifully detailed with gold mic on the fan and the obi. A large format print that would make a beautiful framed display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical fold at side. Slight creasing at edges. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details.
