The Mitsui Building with View of Mt. Fuji

Comments - Handsome Meiji era scene of Suruga-cho in Tokyo with the modern Mitsui Building dominating the street. Surrounded by traditional structures, the tall building features rows of glass windows and two balconies, with a cupola topped by an enormous fish ornament. The gated front garden features blossoming cherry trees. Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance past a flagpole flying the Japanese flag. An attractive design with nice architectural detail.
