Sadanobu's Kanadehon Chushingura - Handsome woodblock scene from Sadanobu's series based on the kabuki play "Kanadehon Chushingura," which tells the fantastic story of the 47 Ronin, who avenged their master's death. Each design presents the major characters in nicely detailed settings, beginning with Lady Kaoyo's identification of the battle helmet, and culminating in the night attack on Moronao's palace and the presentation of his head at Lord Hangan's tomb. An attractive interpretation of this classic tale, with vibrant color and lively action.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. One small hole in upper right corner from previous string binding, repaired. Slight creasing, some prints have slight soiling. Please see photos for individual condition. Good condition overall.
