Series; Praise for Multicolored Blossoms

Yugiri of Daimonji-ro, 1883 - Lovely scene of a beauty sitting on a verandah under a blossoming cherry tree, holding a small hand drum to her shoulder. Yugiri of Daimonji-ro pauses as she walks by, looking up to admire the delicate flowers. In the background, a woman strolls across a walkway raised above a stream. The inset at upper left shows a magic fox dancing with several men, supernatural red flames dotting the sky. At right, a samurai's suit of armor rests near a folding fan and sword. Nicely detailed. An attractive design from a rarely seen Chikanobu series.
