Series; Praise for Multicolored Blossoms

Courtesans of the Daimonji-ro, 1884 - Lovely scene of a beauty greeting a visitor in winter at the garden gate. She smiles and bows politely, wearing an olive green kimono bordered with a blossoming plum tree and a bird sitting on a branch. The guest crouches in the snow, cuddling a cat with a red collar to her chest. Another woman peers from the doorway of a building at left, watching the pair. An attractive design with a nicely detailed and colored setting.
