Beauties in a Chrysanthemum Garden - Attractive image of beauties visiting a chrysanthemum garden. In the center, a young woman kneels beside a beauty, holding out a tray with a poem slip and ink stone on it. At lower left, a beauty ties a poem to a tall red chrysanthemum. Behind them, women stroll about the grounds along the water, admiring the colorful blossoms. Nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars and trim, and burnishing on the black kimono at far right and the black lacquer frame of the panel at right. The first time we've offered this Chikanobu subject.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Slight soiling, a few creases and spots. Please see photos for details.
