Shiba Shinmei Shrine, 1858 - Lovely view of Shiba Shinmei Shrine in winter, with visitors and workers walking across the snowy grounds. A laborer in a straw raincoat at left carries a yoke with parcels suspended from it, while beauties stroll past under umbrellas, their faces wrapped with scarves. The beautiful architecture of the building is wonderfully detailed, and the sky softly shaded as snow falls heavily. A very attractive design.
