Night Cherry Blossoms

Series; Famous Places in Kyoto, 1936

Night Cherry Blossoms - Lovely scene of people viewing cherry blossoms at night in Kyoto. Pedestrians are seen in silhouette in the plaza in the foreground, dwarfed by the enormous flowering tree on the hill above, the branches propped up by wooden poles. Colorful red lanterns, a glowing street, and a small bonfire on the slope add a festive air to the scene. A charming modern design by Tokuriki, mounted to board in the traditional shikishiban format.

Image Size - 10 5/8" x 9 1/2"
