Comments - Charming scene of a mother and her young child visiting an iris garden in summer. She keeps careful hold of the toddler as he walks along a wooden boardwalk over the water, lined with blossoming purple irises. The mother looks up as a cuckoo flies by overhead, a good omen. Lovely soft color. An attractive design rarely seen in reprint.
