Winter Stroll

Comments - Charming Kiyonaga design of a young samurai and two beauties strolling through the snow. The beauty at left clings to her companion's arm, the hem of her striped plum robe trailing onto the ground. The woman at right carries a tray with a red lacquer sake cup on it, and she shyly holds her kimono sleeve close to her chin. The stone foundation of the building at left is piled with snow, as are the branches overhead. A lovely winter scene, beautifully drawn with elegant line work. An attractive design rarely found in reprint.
