Beauty with a Shamisen

Comments - Attractive scene of a beauty playing the shamisen, smiling as she looks over her shoulder at her companion. Both women wear solid-color kimono tied with patterned obi, and each has a purse wrapped in a roll of tissues tucked into her obi. A square inset above shows a sign hanging at the corner of a building, with a verse in a green cartouche at left. A handsome composition with nice color.

Artist - Kunichika (1835 - 1900)

Image Size - 9 1/4" x 13 3/4"

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Backed with paper. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
