Painting - Attractive image of a beauty preparing to paint a folding fan, a brush in hand. The young girl at left mixes ink on an ink stone, while the young woman at lower right mixes pigment in shallow dishes. At left, a container holds brushes of all sizes with a small bowl of water nearby. A charming scene with lively color and wonderful detail in the elegant fabrics and household furnishings, including lacquer on the black collar of the beauty's coat.
