Bird in a Blossoming Cherry Tree; Cranes, 1896

Comments - Attractive kacho-e or birds and flowers print featuring two chuban sized designs. The top image shows a bird with green tipped feathers perched in a blossoming cherry tree. Below, several cranes are shown among young pine trees with a rivulet of water running through the grass. A rare uncut page, nicely detailed.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9" + left margin as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Stitching holes at top edge, repaired. Slight soiling at edges. Please see photos for details.
