Comments - In the center, Ebisu dangles a red snapper from a fishing pole over the top of a screen depicting cranes in flight, while Hotei tosses money from the side of the panel. The children below react with surprise and delight, one grinning happily while another covers his head as coins shower down. An older boy watches with a slightly worried expression, pausing as he starts to take a bite of a treat. The face of a horned demon peers over the top of the screen, actually a mask affixed to the enormously tall forehead of Fukurokuju. A red lacquer tray on the floor holds containers of food with another bowl and tiny sake cups nearby. At far left, a traditional holiday display of kagami mochi (mirror mochi) adorned with greens and topped with a lobster and orange can be seen. An amusing, lighthearted depiction of these famous deities. Includes delicate cloth embossing on the screen.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three attached panels. Thinning along horizontal centerfold, small holes, repaired. Creasing and wrinkling, slight toning and soiling, a couple paper remnants. Please see photos for details.
