Beauty Holding a Baby Kakemono

Comments - Lovely kakemono or vertical diptych design of a beauty holding her baby, looking down at it fondly as she cradles its feet in one hand. The infant smiles back up at her, warmly dressed in a green coat over a cherry blossom print kimono. The woman wears a blue and gray checked robe trimmed with a green print, tied with a boldly patterned green and yellow obi that reverses to a tie-dyed red design. Her hair is elegantly arranged with a large comb, pink ribbons, and several decorative hairpins. A charming design, beautifully drawn with graceful flowing line work. A wonderful choice for display.

Image Size - 29" x 9 5/8"
