Hotaru (Fireflies), Chapter 25 - Great image from the ghost story "Yatsuya Kaidan" of the evil ronin Tamiya Iemon watching as the skeletal ghost of his murdered wife Oiwa appears behind a beauty carrying a small insect cage. Iemon attempted to kill his wife by poisoning her so he could marry another woman. The poison instead disfigured her, and during a scuffle, she fell on a sword and died. Her ghost then began to haunt him, eventually driving him to commit suicide. An intriguing illustration from this dramatic tale
