Otome, Chapter 21: The Maiden Oshichi - Handsome depiction of the young beauty Oshichi reclining along the eaves of a Buddhist temple, in the form of a tennin or heavenly Buddhist spirit. She holds a lotus blossom in one hand, wearing a black kimono trimmed with a greenish gray geometric print and tied with a red patterned obi. Her hair is adorned with ribbons and ornaments. The inset above shows a feather robe (hagoromo), worn by tennin, which enables them to fly. A lovely design with graceful line work.
