Beauty Boarding a Pleasure Boat, 1867 - Lovely scene of a beauty preparing to board a pleasure boat, standing on the dock as a woman on board takes her hand to assist her. She smiles back at Prince Genji as he stands in the entrance to a courtyard at left, grinning as he holds a fan. She wears a kimono patterned with morning glories, the sleeves blowing in the evening breeze, willow branches swaying above. A charming design.
