Women are shown serving a meal, relaxing in the garden or on a verandah, or arriving or leaving a teahouse. These colorful designs are nicely detailed with handsome interior and exterior settings showing an interest in Western perspective. An attractive Meiji era beauty series, seldom seen.

Yojuro Restaurant at Shintomicho - Lovely scene of two beauties on the verandah of the Yojuro Restaurant at Shintomicho, looking down at two guests in the garden courtyard below. One woman smiles and gestures, bringing her kimono sleeve shyly to her face. A waitress behind them holds a red lacquer tray with tea cups. A handsome design with a view out over the rooftops of the city to the sea, a plume of gray smoke rising from the far shore. Nice architectural detail and an interesting vantage point.
