Arashi Koroku V as Jijo Sugibae, 1851

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene from the play "Genji Moyo Furisode Hinagata" of the beauty Jijo Sugibae eavesdropping behind an open door. She crouches on the porch, smiling happily as she hides her lantern beneath her sleeve, maples leaves drifting down through the night sky behind her. Behind her, maple leaves flutter down through the night sky. A nicely detailed design.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 5/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A couple small holes, repaired. Slight toning soiling, a few creases and marks. Please see photos for details.
