Nakamura Shikan as Takechi Mitsuhide, 1868 - Great kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan as the treacherous samurai Takechi Mitsuhide (the real-life Akechi Mitsuhide), who betrayed Lord Oda Nobunaga. He grimaces angrily as he looks over his shoulder, clutching a fan between his hands. He wears a fine suit of armor over a black kimono patterned with stylized flowers, his bushy hair sticking up around his head. A bold figure, nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair, and set off by a deep blue background.
