Four Scenes of the 47 Ronin - Interesting lithograph print featuring four small illustrations from the famous tale of the 47 ronin, who avenged their master's death. At upper left, fighting takes place in the snowy courtyard during the night attack on Moronao's mansion. At upper right, the ronin return in triumph following the attack. At lower, left, the ronin wash Kira's head before laying it at the tomb of at Sengakuji. The lower right image is a group portrait of all the samurai. Nicely colored and detailed, with captions in Japanese and English. Please note, this is a lithograph print, not a woodblock.

Image Size - Each image 4 1/4" x 6 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few small creases and tears at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
