Toeizan Temple at Ueno, circa 1844 - Beautiful spring view of cherry trees in full bloom at Ueno in Edo. Visitors stroll about the grounds, climbing the low steps to Toeizan Temple at left. The structure beautifully frames a view of the park, with cherry trees lining the walkways, interspersed with towering pine trees. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection. An attractive Hiroshige landscape with a handsome composition.
