Collecting Seawater for Salt Making

Comments - Handsome Hokusai scene of two men dipping their buckets into the ocean, collecting seawater to make salt. They wear simple blue and white tie-dyed cotton robes as they draw the wooden pails through the surf. The small woven structures at right cover pots of brine being boiled down to concentrate the salt. Mt. Fuji rises majestically in the distance, dominating the horizon. A lovely design with fine detail and soft color. A subject we've never seen in reprint before.
